Pop-Up Butterfly Card using Sizzix Pop'n Cuts

I couldn't wait to play with my new Pop'n Cuts !!!
So I picked some plain cardstock paper and tested them out..
Once I got the hand of what it's supposed to look like I went and created
fancier, more elaborate cards.. Check out my newer posts for those cards :) ..

This is the Pop'n Cuts insert I used to create this card.

Christmas Ornaments

Our second Christmas as a married couple!
I always call him my big bear so thought these were fitting.. haha
We bought these couple months ago at a local Craft Show called "Our best to you".
Don't you just love the lady's hand writing!

This was the ornament I bought last year (after Christmas) to represent our first married Christmas together.
I bought this one from a place called "Parkland Gardens". It's a store full of Christmas stuff/decorations and real trees you can pick and buy.. Since I went there after Christmas I got this one 50% off :) hihi. Sorry for the blurry picture..

A Christmas Card for my boss

Ink Embossing a plain cardstock to use as background

Use your ink pad and dab it all over the embossing folder  making sure it does not get into the creases, only onto the raised areas.

I then passed the folder threw my cuttlebug (or you can you a big shot)

The results are pretty fun! Use any colors or even have fun and use multi-tones of ink...
Once your done, simply rinse off your embossing folder with water and let it dry.

Sentiments using Stampin' Up Gorgeous Grunge

I absolutely LOVE this stamp set, it's so versatile as background images or you can make them dark and bold as pieces you really want to stand out.. I will try and make many more projects using these :)

Using Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel on a sentiment

I printed out the sentiment from a digi I purchased.
I then cut it out using my cuttlebug and then cut out the
red scalloped oval I glued behind the sentiment.

I then dabbed Versa Mark all over the sentiment...
Then I layed it flat in my Tim Holtz Ultra thick embossing enamel, making sure it sticks everywhere evenly.

This is what it looked like before I melted it using my heating tool.

This is what the first coat looks like. A little bumpy and not even. So I stamped clear Versa Mark all over the sentiment once again and gave it a second coat of ultra thick embossing enamel and heat dried it once again.

This is what it looks like after 2 coats. Just the way I wanted it!
Slick and shinny, no more bumps!

My sentiment is now ready to add to the front of my gate fold card!
