Flower Table Center Pieces
I went to a Community Connection Lunch today and these were the center pieces the clients had made and gave them out as door prizes at the end of the lunch. They had made over 100 of them.
These are real easy to make and look real nice too. These were made by our clients of all ages so believe me when I say ANYONE can make these!
ALL YOU NEED is: Paper, Battery Powered Flickering Candle & Glitter (optional).
You can use any colours for these really, all depending on what event your using them for. Ex:
Christmas: green & red
Birthday: assorted bright colours
Baby Shower: blue or pink
Wedding Shower: pink & white
Easter: yellow & purple
Wedding: white & beige
and so on.....
Step 1: Cut a green piece of paper for the center & glue the petals one by one to the base, building upwards.
Step 2: Glue 4 petals to the battery operated flickering candle.
Step 3: Glue a circular piece of paper to the top of the plastic candle and cut a small hole in the centre, big enough to fit the flickering part of the candle threw.
Step 4: Brush on the Glitter (note the glitter comes off really easy since they arent glued, their just soprinkled on.) You can always use glittery markers, or use glue and sparkles.
Please note: DO NOT GLUE CANDLE to the base of the paper flower. You need to be able to turn the battery powered flickering candle On/Off.
The more petals you use, the more 3D it looks.
HAVE FUN WITH IT PEOPLE!!!
Enjoy :-)
