My plans (art projects) for the weekend!!

Hey Creative Minds,

I have a list of things I'll be working on this weekend.. so keep checking my blog to see whats new. Here are a few projects I plan on making over the weekend.

- Big Buckle Card (using my new digi stamps!)
- Telescopic Card (Easter themed)
- Mini Album (using one large enveloppe)

And I might even throw in a couple cards in the mix along with more digi stamp colouring :) (if I have time..)

So happy today is my Friday haha.. :) Cant wait to get home (7:30pm) and Create Create Create!!!

Third attempt (Digi Stamps)

I feel like a kid again! (Digi Stamps)

Hey Bloggers!!!

I've been joining a couple new art circles and loving some super fun creative art blogs out there..

I've been keeping busy learning all about ''Digi Stamps''. I don't know why I haven't heard about that world of crafts before but I'm absolutely loving the idea and I've been keeping real busy surfing the net to find out alot more about it and WoW there's a whole other creative art world out there I never knew about haha!! So for you who are also new to the Digital world of stamps it's pretty great haha.. how it works is you buy stamps (images) you like online and then you receive them by e-mail usually almost right away (beats waiting weeks to receive them in the mail and having to pay for shipping!)

What's really great about ''Digi Stamps'' is that you can play around with the size you want them on your computer and then just print them out.. so easy to do and works so good for projects of any scale. Even when I stretch the image real big it still looks perfect and not all distorted. This is a new world I'm diving right into! I've always been one to doodle and love to color and play around with texture and shading.. Only thing is, I haven't done it for years now.. Man I felt like a little kid again when I pulled out my coloring pencils!! The fallowing pictures are of a ''Digi Stamp'' I purchased online a couple days ago. I decided to print it huge on a regular sheet of white printer paper because I felt like playing around and getting my coloring groove back. As the famous ''Copic markers'' are ridiculously expensive (but apparently work amazing for this type of project).. I'm sticking to my coloring pencils (for now) haha.. So the fallowing is my very FIRST attempt at shading and coloring in a Digi....

I picked this one to be my first Digi Attempt because it makes me think of me and my Smash Book ;) LOL.

Infinity Card: To Love & Be Loved

Here is my Infinity / Never Ending Card I made January 28th.

I am a little late posting.. (sorry!!) to be honest I kind of forgot I had made it.

I was going threw my piles of ''completed cards'' and came upon it so I decided to dig up a few pictures

(I always take pictures as I do my art projects) so I just had to dig in my computer.

Here is a bit of a breakdown.. what goes threw my creative mind.. I always cut more pieces then needed and try and see what would work better.. this makes the process so much longer haha but cant help it!

I made this stair step card very quickly playing around with some of the design paper I had.

I could add so much more depth and shading.. but this is just to show an idea of the card.

Please note that I am not quite done yet.. I am waiting for my new stamps to come in. (I ordered a bunch of fun new sentiment stamps and I am planing on putting one on the second layer beside the tree. That is why it looks empty. I might add a couple colorful flowers here and there to fill in the spaces.. once I know how big the sentiment will be.

This is my experiment Card.

I"ve seen many different versions of this card and wanted to give it a shot. It was my first time using my art sewing kit.. I'll def need some more practice! haha :) Didn't exactly turn out like what I had in my head but regardless, it looks kinda cool for my first time :)
